Authorization Code in Namecheap Domain Transfer
By default, Domain Push Settings at Namecheap is set to “Requires Authorization code” for security purposes. With this, no one can push a domain to your account without your knowledge or consent. Transfer of domain ownership should always be of mutual agreement.
So how can you authorize someone to push the domain?
1. Login to your Namecheap account.
2. Click “My Account” drop-down menu and select “Manage Profile”.
3. Click “Push Settings” under “Other Settings” on the left navigation menu.
4. Get the “one time use code” or set a permanent code and provide it to the person who wish to push the domain.
If you don’t want to use any authorization code at all, simply select “Allow All”. This will automatically accept any domain push to your account.
