DTI Sales Promotion Permit Issue: How To Deal

The thought of applying for a contest permit annoyed me that much. Hassle, fees, issues… name it, something doesn’t fit. But before I blurt things out of anger, let me share something that will make you feel better. Every blogger should try this:

Note: (Empty your recycle bin before following the steps below)
1. Open a new file in your computer.
2. Name it ‘DTI Sales Promotion Permit Issue’
3. Send it to the Recycle Bin….
4. Empty the Bin.
5. Your PC will ask you: “Do you really want to get rid of ‘DTI Sales Promotion Permit Issue’?”
6. Firmly click “Yes.”
7. Feel better?

Let’s do the person/people behind this issue next?

I’ll tackle this issue seriously once I’ve gotten enough sleep. Good night for now. (PC clocks shows 2:30AM though.)

If I may add: Avoid adding to the free traffic that goes to those pesky bloggers’ sites.

I used to check for updates on their sites until I realized… TEKA MUNA, I’m helping them with upping their traffic.

My stand on this: Bloggers are like Oprah who want to give stuff away to make the audience happy. Is Oprah required to get permission from a DTI-like entity? NO. Why? Because it’s stupid.

I wish to express my thoughts here without directing my readers to any external links. :) Bloggers have posted their sentiments on their own blogs until I realized that it’s no longer necessary to post mine. Grandstanding is never tempting. Moving forward, I’ll act and blog the same way I used to be.

  3. I think its silly. Bloggers who do not follow through their their prizes are at a risk of earning very bad reputations. And with the internet, those precious reputations could reach as many people with just a click of a button.

Agree. And speaking of DTI Sales Promotion Permit, may update na daw if sino lang ang need kumuha ng permit. Haven’t checked their final agreement though.
