Google Page Rank Update: Inspiring or Disheartening
With the launch of my new blogs, I’ve been watching out for the next Google PR update to see if my blogs can make it to the marketplace. Unfortunately, the future seems not so promising for me. Not yet. Even my blogs with higher PR are of lesser value now. Though PR is not everything when in comes to earning online, it has a major impact on my revenue.

Google PR Update - June 2011
Make More Money Online (M3O) maintains it’s PR2 for 3 consecutive Google updates while BH Overcashed drops from PR4 to PR2.
I’m not yet done with data analysis and this is not the final graph. I just made a quick illustration to see the downward trend.

Google’s algorithm is no mystery. Big G knows all your dirty works and recognizes your genuine efforts. He penalizes the cheaters and rewards the hardworkers. But don’t take the sudden drop of PRs negatively. It does not always mean that you are doing something wrong, rather, there must be something that you’re not doing anymore. Have you stopped publishing quality posts? Have you been lazy updating your blogs lately? Have you been accepting too much paid links?
You might be neglecting something. I’ll share more of my thoughts later. I’m doing monthly track back of my blog activities to come up with a clear conclusion. Still doing SWOT analysis, too.
PR update is like a thief through the night. It comes in unannounced, stealing your most important possession, ruining your business, or risking your life. Sometimes, it can be like Santa Claus, rewarding you with a breath of fresh air, giving you presents, and making you look forward to the next Christmas day.
No matter how great the impact of this PR update, we must detach ourselves from online matters. Sure thing, this can affect our online presence, but we still have a life of our own to manage and live with!

Wow ang dami mong blog sis! At may mga PR pa sila ha. My earning online blog has a PR of 1 na! It used to have a rank 2 before I changed my domain. My personal blog is still Zero.
and my other new blogs, well o din kasi almost 2 months old pa lang sila. hehe
Just keep updating those blogs and they will eventually gain higher PR.

Hi Levy, I haven’t explored Alexa ranking but I do check my Alexa stats especially the traffic-generating keywords. That’s a good question, will definitely check it.
Wow! That’s a lot of blogs! It’s a little disappointing that some of them decreased. But hey! You manage many blogs and it’s hard, yet you still maintain some ranks. That’s still good.

Thanks! I wonder if it would be the final PR for this update. Usually, there are slight changes that could last for weeks. Will check out your blog again to see if you’ve installed the top commentator widget.

How do you manage so many blogs? Ako, I cannot because I am also a full time mom. Pag spare time lang ako nag-blog. And there’s so much that needs to be done if you want PR and traffic. Hope you get good PR for all your blogs next update.

Actually, I gave up my full-time job to be able to blog at home with these many blogs. Haha. Thanks for the support. Hope this blog can inspire more online earners and other bloggers.

But I’m doing my best to update them all. My blogs are my kids. Lol. If I get married soon and have my own kids, I hope that I can still manage these blogs… Whew!
I’m a blog addict and each time there’s a domain sale, I grab one. Lol. But I have to tell you, I’m guilty of favoritism and I have 4-5 favorite blogs.
So many blogs! On a lighter note, at least more than half of them were assigned a page rank – although I don’t know exactly yet how useful PR is.
Yeah, let’s look at the brighter side of things.
PR is useful for advertising purposes. The higher the PR, the more willing the clients will advertise.

Same here. Sort of. Most of my blogs’ PR dropped. Still, they’ve got PR so not that bad.

In my opinion, I think this PR update has a connection with Panda campaign Google expanded during many months ago. Content has the very important role in this PR update, the websites/blogs with good quality content, frequently refresh, unique & useful information will be ranked higher than low quality sites.

maybe you need to look for a partner to help you maintain these sites or sell some of it to be able to focus on your other sites that are doing well. just a friendly (though unsolicited) advice.

I think it’s not just on PR, it’s on the amount of traffic that you have.
