How To Change Domain Name Server with 1&1 (1and1.com)
Edit DNS Settings
1. Login to the 1&1 Control Panel using your customer ID and the password that you chose during the order process.
2. Click “Domains” under Basic Settings.
3. Mark the checkbox beside the domain name that you want to update.
4. Click the DNS drop-down menu.
5. Select “Edit DNS Settings”.
6. Enter the primary and secondary servers you wish to use.
Enter the new nameservers correctly
7. Click OK. You’ll be back to the Administration page and you’ll notice that the status of your website will be set to “updating”.
Wait for few hours before you can access your website again. Have patience while waiting for the updates to take effect.
